I have 2 80th birthdays this weekend on Saturday my great aunt and a friend. At that age people seem to have everything or have lost interest. I'm desperate for something practical and i don't want it to reflect theri age too much...

Two 80 year olds? Cardigans and slippers me thinks...

Or you may want to consider getting them a gift voucher for
afternoon tea in the Westin, Shelbourne or similar...

Finally, why do I keep thinking you should just get them Twister ;-)

    Twister...now why didn't i think of that?

Got them a meal voucher each, they can bring their home help with them to the Castle Hotel.

Large Print Scrabble - same as regular scrabble but tiles are twice the size.

My 83 yr old grandfather always tells us to give him stuff he'll use, black chocolate (which he loves), good wine, wooly socks that you just can't get in Denmark etc etc.

The meal voucher was a good call :)
