Proof of Address

I've just found out that I have an interview tomorrow and I was told that I'll need to bring proof of address.

The problem is that I've been living in Dublin for the last few years and have moved around a bit. I have all my post still delivered to my parent's house so I don't have the hassle of changing addresses every year or so.

Will this be a problem, or is there any way I can get something sent to me today that will be sufficient?

Can you not just say you live at your parents house and bring an a letter addressed to you?

You can say that you still live at home!! That is what I am doing until I get my own home!!

Well I could do that but it would be a fairly long commute for me to get to the job! I'm assuming they'd want the address I have on my CV.

Do you have a rent book or a lease agreement.

Even a household bill will suffice, you should havwe a TV licence for your current address.

They will simply photocopy it and give it back to you so you will not have to give up an important item like your TV licence to them.

I don't have a household bill as they are all in the landlord's name and he takes them away when they arrive. I guess I'll just bring the rent book along and a bill addressed to my parent's house. I can't see it being too much of a problem, just a bit annoying really. I just hate the thought of letters for me lying around in my previous addresses!

So, what kind of job requires proof of address?
