Bags for inside panniers?

I've just recently aquired my new bike, and it's come with metal/plastic panniers.

I'd like to get some kind of bag to fit inside each of them, so i could pack the bag full and maximise the room available, not to mention opening the panniers wouldn't mean everything would fall out!

Any ideas if these are available or indeed if there's somewhere that would make them if I gave them the panniers?

    They're BMW panniers for a 650GS.

you can get specially made pannier bags for the 650GS. I tend to use old helmet bags though.

    Any idea where?

Helmet bags are a good idea, but I only have one helmet and I need the helmet bag for that!

Givi do a set of inner bags which came with a set of panniers as i got a few years ago, They were water proof and I had no probs with them. They closed with a cord like a helmet bag. Im not sure if they sell them seperate.

Just checked with joe duffy and it's 74+VAT each...

I was just about to say Duffys might have them. 74+ each is a bit steep. I'm sure if you look around some camping shops etc you might find bags to do the job at much less that that.

74 is a bit steep alright, I've got a friend who sells luggage, I might see if he can recommend something similar...

    eBay is your friend colm_c..

    Also try Nippy Normans, Touratech.

You could also try this F650GS forum, or their For sale and wanted section.

You could also use old pillow cases. May not be the most elegant thing but they'll work.

I often use bin liners going to rallys, at least they are cheap and water proof!!:D :D:D
