harder for who? about 10% of the field are going to cash in each tournament. So if it is easier for you to cash in the IO, it must be harder for someone else.

Im asking whether people feel its easier to get through a field of approx 8000 to 9oo for a cash of a field of 700 to 63 to cash its just a general question

I still don't really understand the question, I guess it's easier to play one day of poker than 3 or whatever you need in the world series. But if you mean is an average player more likely to cash in one over the other, it's around the same.

yeh I suppose i mean an average player and the make up of both fields. would you feel say the average table at the early stages of the WSOP is going to be more difficult then a table one finds himself on at the Open. I'm really only thinking about the cash, i think its easier to cash in the wsop but having reached the cash part i think its probably going to be more difficult to go really deep in the WSOP say top 40; should be easy enough to hit top 50 though:rolleyes: :) .

Guess what I'm saying is that to get from 8000 to 900 is going to be easier then getting from 700 to 63 . but its just an opinion and I can see where you can doubt my logic guess i should of put a same difficulty option in the poll

edit; I'm looking at it subjectively rather then mathemathically I suppose its that i think some blocks of a tournament are harder to get through then others . forget about the events and just say one imaginary 10,000 runner tournament i think its easier to see off the first 90% 10k down to 1k then getting from 1k down to 100. I think it reverses then I think it's more difficult to get from 100 down to 10 then it is to win the final table. fuzzy logic but there you go
