Exchange rates

Unusual question here. When depositing money into, say full tilt, do you get charged exchange rates on it cause it has to go from euro to dollar? I e-mailed them about it, but the answer was a bit ****. "Thanks for e-mailing us, there are many ways you can lodge money in full tilt poker blah blah blah..."

I'm just thinking of starting to play online, and was wondering about this sort of thing. I assume you get charged some minor fee if you use a credit card for this lodgement too? I know **** all about banks to be perfectly honest. Any info into this sort of thing would be handy.

    Thanks
