Teletext on NTL Digital

    Hi,

NTL Digital does not appear to carry teletext for any of the channels except those that are are already available via the analog signal. I checked at a friends house and teletext is available for all stations on Sky Digital. This would be really useful for something like TV5 Monde. Anyone know why this rather simple thing is not available on NTL Digital or is there something I need to do?

    Thanks,
    Diarmuid

NTL digital only every carried text for the RTE's BBC's UTV/CH4 and TV3.
They just never carried the others and no there is nothing you can do to get text on the other stations.

BBC /UTV etc are phasing out Teletext. While is is simple and cheap to do, they prefer to use MHEG on DTT and OpenTV on Sky. Only full UK serives on Analogue now,

The original point I made was that Sky Digital carry this service and NTL don't. Another part of their lack of service.

The other problem is that NTL don't offer any of the advanced text services either. Any sign of them doing that?
