programming sky+ via mobile phone

    hi all,
    i have heard that you can programme channels to record on your sky+ box via your mobile phone. anyone know how to do this or is it just available in the UK?

    You go into the sky.com website and register you need you sky card number.

    2 options.

    1. record by mobile.
    2. record online.

    you have to register for the service through the Interactive service on your sky+ box first

    remote record by SMS is easy: just text in this format Program.Channel.Start_time.Date to 53759 (53SKY), and you get a confirmation message. I think this costs 50c

    Remote Record on sky.com is even easier:
    goto the listings in the TV Guide secton of sky.com (login first though)
    scroll to find the program you want and click on the link for the program name, and then click on the Remote Record link

    i sue this all the time, and the online version is free!
