    I'll be at the one in Cork, so if anyone wants to mug me before hand for my money or afterwards for the PS3 you know where to find me.

    How do the midnight launches work anyway? Will Smyths be phoning me before hand to tell me about it? Or do I just show up?

    I was told that they'll be phoning the people who'll be getting a PS3 on launch day, the day before.

    Just got a phone call from Smyth's in Swords saying that they are open 12am - 2am on Friday morning!

    Cool, nice one. I am now going to be spending every waking moment staring at my phone willing it to ring. I prebooked back in October, so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get one. Would be some kick in the teeth if I didn't.

    *EDIT* They rang to let me know I could pick it up from friday and if possible could I pick it up before Sunday, to which I panickly replied "Are you not having a midnight launch?" to which she replied "oh yeah, we are, you can pick it up at midnight if you want,"
