    Hello,

Currently trying to book a 2 week holiday for somewhere outside Europe and looking for recommendations from people on where to go. Places I'm looking at are Thailand or Peru but would like to hear others recommendations?

    Cheers
    Conor

I've been to Thailand and its a great place for a holiday, but i'd nearly choose Malaysia over Thailand however.

What are you into? Are you into hiking/adventure trips, diving? Or are you just looking for a relaxing time?

Depends what time of the year you are going.
If I were to take a two week break in Dec/Jan or Feb, I would head for Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile but there are loads of good places to go that time of year, for example, Oz, New Zealand, South Africa, SE Asia and, as you mentioned, Peru.
If you are thinking of heading away around July or August, how about Hong Kong and China or doing a bit of a tour of Japan??

I'll second China, its a fantastic country. 2 weeks might be pushing it though, you'd have to stick to a small area .... internal flights are cheap though.

South Africa is amazing, loads to see and do there but to get the most from it you will need a car to get around. Avoid Jo'burg and Durban though, they're pretty rough. No jet lag either, as an added bonus :D

went to Cuba last year and it was amazing. we did 1 week of touring around the island and 1 week of relaxing in all inclusive luxury. Absolutely amazing time and I strongly recommend everyone go. Thailand as well is the biz for party's and relaxing. It's all there.

Did a month in Vietnam as well and that left me with some great memories. All would be highly recommended.
