I have a 32" Samsung slimfit tv, one of the first ones to come out. Have it about a year & half now. It says on the front that its 1080i compatible which i'm sure is High Definition. My problem is that i'm getting a PS3 on Friday and checked out about a HDMI lead and noticed there is no port on the back of the TV to match the HDMI connector just 3 small connectors like the video & audio l & r jacks. There is some writing above these that state that they are for 1080i. Can someone help me find the type of lead i need?

they're component connections (red, green, blue). they are capable of carrying HD video. then you need to bring the audio in through another two connections (red & white). so in total you will be using 5 (3 video, 2 audio)

this is what you need. the ps3 comes with standard video cable so u will be able to use it but in HD you will need the component cables
