My friend told me at the weekend that he saw a giant bunny at the end of his bed after a marathon session of drinking and said it was just one in a long line of hallunicinations he got after drinking, or the horrors he said. Anyone know if the horrors is a frequent thing after drinking? Any mad stories to tell?

Hi Doing a story on the Horrors for a local paper, whats the worst horrors you have ever gotten? I know one guy saw a giant bunny at the end of his bed, does that sort of thing actually happen? Are the horrors frequent when drinking?

Ceiphas, if you're planning to use people's stories for an article in a paper then you should at least have the decency to let them know at the outset and don't pretend you're just casually interested in the topic

I had an absolute "horror trip" on pretty much my first real hefty drinking session.

Was at a party and I drank everything that had alcohol in it. Beer, wine , spirits, liqueor ...most of it mixed together and tons of it.

The "trip" was absolutely horrific. My friends morphed into monsters in front of my eyes, everything was totally menacing, sounds and colours were all altered and all frightening ...and I was bloody paralised, couldn't move, couldn't speak, couldn't even puke. Somewhere along the way I was so scared that I actually wet my pants.

After about an hour or so, my stomach finally turned upsided down and I spent about three or four hours puking my guts up until there was only gall fluid left.

The "horrors" was so horrific and has left such a lasting impression, that ever since I have never, ever crossed that line again where I'm just pleasantly, mellowly drunk. Ever since I've never had more than three four pints ...mostly just one or two ....and that's 25 years now.

Haven't dared experiment with any other drugs either ...I never wanted to be THAT scared again.

you see this pisses me off, I've take heinous amounts of hallucinogenics and I've never seen ****, like yeah loads fractals and colors etc but I've never seen something that wasn't there yet you all get it from drinking, pain in the ass.

I recently experienced hallucinations afer I finished a 3 week drinking session. They were so bad I had to consult my doctor who told me I had a mild case of Delerium Tremens. Needless to say Ive cut down on my binge drinking since

Once while travelling I kept heard my name called over and over but then I hadn't slept in two days, not drunk. Freaky though.

A friend of mine sees a little green man like a leprechaun after a really heavy session. He says the little guy follows him around the house and sits on the telly. I've never had any booze-induced hallucinations myself though.

I was convinced there was a rabbit standing over me last night. However, my hands had simply settled into a remarkably unfortunate position
