Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeships.

Hi im new to boards, im an engineering student in bolton st dit. ive recently applied for an apprenticeship as an aircraft engineer with a company called SR Technics, im just not sure how easy or hard it is to get one of these apprenticeships and what they involve, can anyone help me out?
