Wireless Problems

    Ok i have a desktop and two laptops with netopia router .. i have wireless working fine with one of laptops . but the other one is new and i cant get wireless on it . it uses dell utility program . i installed the wireless the same way i did on the first laptop but its just not working . please help me . i dont care if i have 2 share the connection with both laptops . the laptop im having trouble with is a DELL INSPIRON 1501 ..     sometimes you have to turn the radio on in the card! this can be a combination of a software setting in the Dell utility and/or pressing the function key (Fn) and a F key, probably F2. It may have an aerial icon printed on it.

    might be worth a look!

    Things to check

    1) Does it work wired when you plug in a network cable?
    2) Any error message?
    3) Can you see your wireless network in the wireless utility? Check what it is called on your working laptop. If not the card is probably off.
