Blinds 100-200

utg weak tight flat calls utg+1 limps again weak loose

mp1(6000) Raises to 700 bit on the loose side but still a very good player not going get stacked too easy

folded around to me what should i make it?
How bad would limping be ?

i make it 2500
he folds later tells me he had AQ would a smaller raise around 1900 been better
i have been playing poorly only showed down 3 hands stole alot of pots but overall been loose agg

You havent given their chip stack sizes but you,ve just added nearly 20% to your stack without having to see a flop. Thats a good result. If you raise only enough to keep him in, theres always the danger that an ace will fall.
The only way you'll get more chips off him is on a Queen high flop or if come out bluffing a raggedy flop. Your reraise was fine and the result was good.

Also, you asked how bad would limping be. in this situation it would be real bad. By just calling the raise your definately pricing in UTG and UTG+1 and now you putting your KK up against 3 hands. Raise it up and try and take it down here and now.

flat calling here would be bad.theres a good chance the limpers will also call and you dont want to play this hand 4 way out of position.

yea reading back through the thread it makes it sound like i was playing well allright no i didnt get any abuse just made a few mistakes a bit rusty just getting back after a few months away from the game too many rushed decisions
