One month in Europe with the girlfriend?

    Any ideas where to go? We are planning on going for the month of August. I was thinking the islands in Europe somewhere, maybe Greece or something like that. We would be looking for sun, water sports and the option to go somewhere a bit crazy on a night out if we want to.

    Has anyone any ideas? If there is a place we could go to for the whole month that would be fine, but we don't mind breaking the trip up. I suppose we would ideally like to rent an appartment for the month or else two weeks in one place and two weeks in another or something like that.

    Has anyone any suggestions?

    island hopping in Greece! Crete..Rhodes...etc etc..they do trips from island to island so u can just hop on a ferry/ship! rent in greece is fairly cheap as far as i know...know a friend that went to rhodes for the summer...ur talking 150 a month...or so...how bad. but i suppose ud have to ask around about accomodation etc

    Go to Crete.....by far the craziest island and also has nice accomodation. Hersonissos has a thumping nightlife down on the strip but there are three villages located on the hillsides that yu could also go to for a quiet one. Book with falcon and not budget travel.

    Check out the links for Star Beach, one of the best bungee jumps around and lots of watersports. They also have foam parties at night. Alot of the Irish bars in Hersonissos will take you on if you want to work a few nights aswell. If your looking for a job at star beach go to this website: www.freewebs.com/lescrete/

    I've been there every year for 6 years now, a few apartments I would recommend: Palatia appartments, Dream appartments and the Dia appartments. Very reasonably priced, great crowd and very well maintained.
