Not a great ep but pretty good.
The courtroom scenes started out a bit flat but got pretty good esp when Tigh was on the stand. Tigh rocks as always. El Prez is an excellent actor but I found I just didn't care about her little revelation.

So next week is the last ep of the series? It will need to be off-the-scale ultradoubleplus good to have any chance to bring my opinion of the series as a whole to up to scratch

BTW - MAJOR spoiler at the end of the "on next weeks ep" clip, obviously to do with the mysterious radio signal.

    Just watched it,very good episode.
All the major players back in one episode .
Cylons back too which is about bloody time.
The menace has been missing from this show for too long, need to bring the tension up a few notches.
Few plot inconsistencies and it seems
A few more cylon models will be revealed, however their identities seem ludicrously implausible
Lee adama has confirmed what an idiot he is .
    He has lost everything.
    His wife,his rank,his father.for what ?
Only one episode left and then a 9 month hiatus

Not overly impressed with this ep tbh; it was 'good' but nothing special.

I'm getting a little pissed off with the Baltar storyline, and the jesus complex and the visions and the whole 'final five' thingy.

It's becoming pretty obvious who the final five are mind you, but I'm not going to spoil it here for anyone.

All I can say is thank fraq for "Heroes"... although that's coming toa close in a few eps to

What the hell are we going to watch during summer?

Yeah this whole Jesus complex seems absurb.
As for the final 5 plot, its gone out of control ,off on tangents .
Seems anybody and his dog could be one of the final 5 no matter how implausible it may seem or maybe the writers are feeding up a few red herrings.

I'm guessing the preview of next weeks episode is deliberately cut to be misleading. Looks like there'll be some action next week though!!!

Meh,this has been such a disappointing season really bar the first few episodes.

getting sick of the trail, the prez has cancer again? running out of stories for her? Seems like the final 5 cylon revelation will be slightly absurd.

Lets ee how next week goes.

Twas alright, Tigh really was the part I enjoyed the most about the episode. Baltar is getting boring, courtroom scenes ugh, Lee Adama don't you just wish he would accidently walk out an airlock !!!!

At least the Cylons are back if only for a couple of seconds, here hoping the final episode has some decent action.

Not bad, thought that maybe Roslin was lying about her cancer returning, just a feeling I had. Also felt like they should have killed off Lee instead of Starbuck, he was just idiotic in this episode. I really hoped they were going somewhere good with this change in his persona :(

I didn't see the trailer for next week though so I must avoid it now, don't want any spoilers on it.

Loved this ep for one main reason Tigh he was stunning throughout.

Builds to a good finale imho

Another fine episode, although not quite as good as last weeks perhaps.
Its nice to see the cylons return in force, I'm assuming they'll hold off until the nebula has been reached.

From what I gather four of the final five will be revealed this coming episode (I'm assuming its Anders, Tory, and Tigh plus one other). Certainly sounded like Anders to me in the teaser for next week anyway.

Hope so. I usually don't watch those things - really pissed off that I did this time.

An 'OK' but fairly bland episode this one - and lots of cliché. They actually said "there's a storm coming". Ugh.

Lee Adama is such a dreadful character. The noise in the ship just seemed silly.

Unless there's a major turn-around in next weeks episode, this is an awful end to the season.

Whats all this about people thinking they know who the 5 are?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,564 ✭✭✭quad_red

Lee really has a face you wouldn't tire of slapping. On the flipside, Helo has improved immeasurably since season 1 (even though he's in it for just a second).

The teaser clip at the end is clearly edited to be misleading - they always are. The final clip with the voiceover saying 'its true...' - it's hardly talking about all of them?!?!?
Adama, Lee, Roslin, Tight, Helo & Anders all cylon?

And they really need to start explaining things. How could the cylons not know who the final five are? What/who the hell are the six who comes to Baltar and the , er, Baltar who comes to six?

As for the music in the ship - I presumed that that was something that the cylons conditioned some of them with (then again, was Anders ever in custody?).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 721 ✭✭✭stakey

I'm presuming the music is coming from the Nebula, could be a) a genetic imprint or b) only something the final five can pick up on (hint, hint).

where are you people gathering all the information for these wild final-5 theories?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 413 ✭✭spooydermot

i do like the idea of only the final 5 being able to hear the 'signal'

it occurred to me that the signal might be something that was planted on galactica as a tracer and that is what the cylons are following and the whole thing with the tillium ship was just a ruse so that they could pick it off and destroy the fleets fuel supply...maybe....

The season finale 2 parter was sent out on screeners to the press.
Certain people posted extensive spoilers on the web .

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,082 ✭✭✭lostexpectation

I idn#t expect to read that info behind those spoilers :/

but damnit I can't believe that now if
if half the leading people are cyclons then isn't humanity ****ed? we we see a revolt for the less hamous and well payed actors we don't see? maybe there are the first half cyclons?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,084 ✭✭✭✭Stark

Lee: "El Presidente, yore mama's so phat"
Roslin: "Would you care to repeat that, Captain Apollo?"
Lee: "I said, yore mama's so phat"
    Roslin: "My mother's dead, Lee".
    *awkward hushes*
Lee: "Well I sure feel like a dick"
    Dee: "I'm so leaving you"
Lee: "Who cares. Lee&Dee? We were just a running gag that was never funny".
Dee: "But Lee&Mancow, that was okay"
Lee: "Oh look, here's Mancow back from the dead now. It will show us the way to Earth. Mancow has spoken. It has shown us the way"

ok time to throw this in here the cylons are afraid of the remaining ones because they believe that living in harmony is the option for the future of the cylon existance

thats what is was thinking it was until reading this thread.

well if the final 5 are who prople are saying they think they are my guess is that they dont know they are until the nebula song thing wakes them from their sleeper agent state.
    or i could be wrong.
    anywho really enjoyed that episode.

My 'woeful' vote is probably just me taking out my frustration based on the entire third series. But since about ep6 of season 3, BSG has been pants, pure & simple.

I now dont care how "amazing/mind-blowing" the last ep is. A season is NOT about the last one or two eps, and some big pay-off. It's about a good *series* and this has been a major let down.

With Lost also having 'lost' the plot I'm starting to think I'll never see an 'arc' TV program of the quality of Babylon5 again. And lord knows B5 had its hairy bits! :-)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,784 ✭✭✭Nuttzz

father and son fallout again, that is getting a little recycled at this stage
I dont think that anders is a cyclon, that is too much of a story line to put into a "next week"clip.

    Also it think that if
    Tigh
is a cyclon it would be a major let down for the show

I don’t see what people don’t like about this season, I’m so confused

I love Baltars storyline so much, best character and I love the complexity of the story so much, makes BSG that bit better than heroes.

As for what to watch this summer i know we have
    Weeds
    Dexter
    Heroes Origins
Yeah this whole Jesus complex seems absurb.

Seems anybody and his dog could be one of the final 5 no matter how implausible it may seem or maybe the writers are feeding up a few red herrings.

So you want to know the identity of the final 5?,
1/2 of BSG is trying to guess who it is and the writers are doing an amazing job of it.

Prez having cancer again probably means that she needs to receive blood from the hybrid on a regular basis just like people with various infections/dieses here on earth need to get regular treatment.

Ill agree with all of you who said that, but do you all not like baltar anymore?

There are 12 models, We know of 7 as of this episode for fact, Those 7 have never seen the faces of the final five, we don’t know why, my own theory is that the final 5 resurrect to earth where they and a human colony live in peace,

Anyway one of the 7 we know called D'eanna did actually see the faces of the final five, she knows one of them well because she said "You,..... I had No idea" or did she say "Forgive me?"

Head Baltar and Head six along with Caprica Six and Gaius Baltar , the 4 of them in the same room will be the single greatest scene in TV history.
No one knows what the deal is. Is it god? Communicating with 1 from each side?
    We don’t know.
But when you have the 4 of them in a room and they have their first 4 way conversation
    Baltar
    Six
    Head Baltar
    Head Six
4 way mind **** of a conversation waiting to happen - roll on season 4

He could well have been captured on old or new Caprica and conditioned to think he was a cylon agent

The reason I actually came back to the BSG board was to see what most people thought of it and ive been reading other sites as well. I am amazed that people didn’t like this season then again I suppose, to each his own.
BSG is by far the best show out there on TV.

So what is it impossible for 2 people who are either Friends or family to have an argument more than once?
