    Can anybody explain the different grading of Dell Faults?

    i.e.

    Grade 1, Grade 2 etc?

    News to me. Where do you see that grading on the outlet?

    It's used on their ebay site, where they sell scratched Laptops etc...
    Got a new 6400 2G Dual Core,2MB Ram,120GB Hd for €800 today.
    Small scratch on the lid, nothing that you wouldn't cause yourself after 10 minutes use.

    Just to clear it up I rang them today..

    Grade 1, very minor cosmetic scratch

    Grade 2, Deeper scratch possibly part dented

    Grade 3, Part damaged or missing

    Never used that I thought you meant the Dell.ie/outlet store. Must keep an eye on the eBay one.

    Do it's worth your while, stay away from the grade 2 & 3 stuff
