    Hey folks,

just wondering if anybody knows of a good program for the Mac that serves the same function as SopCast and PPMate do for Windows.

It'd be very handy to have it on the laptop!

    Cheers

just recently bought my first Macbook (C2D 2 GHz,80GB,white) and was looking for some of this kind of software.

As yet I havent found any but I'd be surprised if there isnt some software out there for OSx which is better than those available for Windows.

However, if I cant find any apps, I'm going to do what Ive been told not to do and use bootcamp to install XP on mybrand new macbook :(

I'll be nervous as hell but I need to watch those live footy matches online.

Nothing to it mate. Was the same, but was up and running in about 45 mins. Take the plunge. :D might want to backup first though..

    hi,

I had a quick search and I found this

I don't know if it works so keep that in mind.
It seems you'd be better off installing Windows as it has more choice when it comes to this type of software.
Let us know if that works anyway.

I installed PeerCast before and it only has a few channels, and they all seem to be Japanese I'm afraid.

    Anyone else?
