Problem Accessing data from old D:\

I've only just started using linux this week & I'm having a few teething problems. Basically I have MP3's on my "D:\" which I want to be able to access in Linux. You're mounting the drive as root, but probably trying to access it as a regular user. Look into the 'umask' option of mount (man mount) to mount it as your regular user account.
