Nope, looks horrible, still has the analog sticks in the wrong place and it could do with triggers.

Which can just as easily be said about the current PS3 controller. Hopefully when they incorperate the rumble into the controller they can to a complete redesign of teh controller.

At least they stuck triggers on the SIXAXIS, but I hear they're crappy.

The pendulum swung too far both times - the first one was over stylized, but the final product already looks a little dated.

Nope, they're triggers, but honestly, they're just like classic L2 and R2 buttons, but they click

They just settled the lawsuit with immersion for $90million

cant see rumble bein added anytime soon

*Immersion is who they settled with.

They can easily add it and should. They added analog sticks to the original playstation controller. There are people complaining about lack of feedback especially in racing games so it wouldn't hurt to put in the option.

I think the sixaxis is the worst designed controller of the lot this time. No rumble = lack of feedback. Analog sticks in the wrong place. On top of all that the motion sensing is crippled as it lack the freedom of movement for you to use it properly as both your hands are on the controller at the same time. This makes a whole lot less useful than the Nintendo Wii implementation. Sony's version will probably be better for racing games and thats about it.

How can they add it without causin another lawsuit?

If they could, I think they would have by now

The only good the motion sensing is for is makin you not look like a twat when you turn a controll pad to steer a car, this time it actually happens, but not in F1, cos that would be the smart thing to do

tbh you're hands would be ****ed after holding that boomerang for 10 minutes.

hideous design, was it actually just a render or did it make prototype stage?

because they settled with the company who was suing them. they're going to implement a new technology called "vibe". you'll hear mutterings of it for a few months then it'll be shown at e3

it went through final cut stages, then the internet went mad and they went back to square one

Yeah they settled witht the company what was suing tehm and now they have to pay some extortionate amount of money to the company every three years. Fair play to Immersion I say. But yeah they will be implementing it. One of teh producers of GoW said that for 3 you will be playing with rumble.
