Selling on a UK car

i know this has probably been covered in great depth here but if i was to buy a car in the uk and import it would i have trouble when i try to sell it on after a few years? I'm looking at a 2002 318ci it would work out at about 19k after vrt.

you shouldn't have any trouble if;

you have a full service history,
car has no signs of crash damage (or repaired correctly if it has),
car isn't eaten with rust,
your price is realistic.
