Now I wouldnt be a fan of Harvey Norman at all as they are overpriced but I thought this was very good

A 55inch Sony HD TV with a 160gb dvd recorder and a stand for the TV for €1999 down from €3400

Seems like a bargain to me seeing as I paid €1600 for just a panasonic 32'' hd tv last year

Cool! You don't have the model number, I take it?

I pick up a couple of bargains in Harvey Normans. Though I'm wary about going in there... alway afraid the rabid guy from the adverts is gonna attack me! :D

This rear projection model has been dropping in price consistently the last few weeks...can be gotten int he UK for as little as €1500. Power city have it for a decent price too, along with a DVD recorder.
Thread about this TV on the HE dsiplays forum...

What is it with people and wall mounting? Surely picture quality should come first....and according to the reviews I've seen, this 1080p TV beats the pants off a lot of the high end LCDs and even some of the plasmas out there at considerably less cost. Try getting a 55" LCD/plasma for anywhere near this price.

I agree with your sentiments... I've seen reviews of the iPod that don't mention anything about sound quality.

*Tut* people  ... what are they like!
    (Sorry to go off topic).
