IRC channel

Not sure how well this is going to work, but I have an IRC channel up and running.

To join, you need an IRC client such as mIRC. Join sever ign.ie.quakenet.org, channel #BG+RH.

Let the intelligent social intercourse commence.

Excellent Although I'm still having problems... I've set up mIRC to connect to a new server "ign.ie.quakenet.org" but it keeps refusing my connection.

Any ideas?

yeah.. just tell it to connect to *.quakenet.org

or select 'Random quakenet.org server' from the list thingy.

Assuming you are using mIRC.

Make sure you aren't connected to another server first - it took me a while to get it working.

Sorry Brothers and Sisters but I can't connect to any servers Problem seems to be at my end. I've told Comodo firewall to allow mIRC but no joy.

I'll try another IRC client, I had no problem recently.

EDIT: My username ident is invalid! What's that about? Connect with real username in lowercase?

Aaarhg! Bad username? I'm using my boards nusername (r3nu4l), I've turned off my firewall and everything, I've tried Bersirc and all! Nothing, argh
