Fell in love with this beer in Portugal a few weeks ago, anybody know where I can find it in Dublin?

I got some in O'Briens in Ballybrack once. Haven't been there in a long time though, so no idea if they still sell it.

Never heard of that beer, but I know Redmonds in Ranelagh (near the Luas station) has an impressive array of foreign beers. If they don't have it, I bet they could tell you where to find it.

Sounds more like a style than a brand to be honest, like lager, ale, stout etc.

No, it is actually the brand name

Bock beers (at least here in Austria) are strong beers traditionally available around christmas time but now are available all year round. I guess that's what the Bock in the name of that beer might be referring to.

Odd bins in Clontarf stock it and at a cheapie price.
    Really nice beer.

Speaking of Iberian beers, I think Estralla will be launched in Ireland soon
Not a big fan of it though

Ah memories... On holidays the guys had had enough super bock to feel the need to have Uber Bock. It involved mixing all the types of alcohol we had with random juices and coke. It was beer, tequila, vodka, ice tea, coke, orange juice and god knows what else. Ugh.

It was cheaper than what you'd pay for bottled water over here iirc.
