    I was using wine for a windows app generaly works 99 % of the time
    but this time the wine crashed it had a defunt process I killed of wine app
    but the defunt process was still there

    I tried starting the windows app again but would not start

    I tried killing the defunt process using kill -9 id
    it would not die
    I had to end up in restarting the computer to kill the process

    So the question is has any of you managed to kill a defunt process
    and how thanls
