30th birthday present

It's my friend's 30th soon. I'm a good bit younger so none of my friends have turned 30 yet. Is it a big deal regarding presents? I'll be getting her something but just wondering what sort/price range is acceptable? She's having a get-together but don't think it's a party as such, it's in a pub.

30 isn't that big a deal present wise, anything will do, nobody would be
expecting anything big.

It is not a big deal present wise but it is emotionally (well it was for me as I could no longer think to myself that I was a "young adult") - give your friend support on the day.
