Reading material of choice

So brothers, wondering what you read when in the john, jacks bog or whatever you call it. I just read what I can find which is normally a shampoo bottle or similar so am thinking of putting in a magazine rack. What is your reading of choice? Also some crazy friends of mine reckon its mad and want to do the business as quick as possible. I say, relax and it'll happen, why rush? :)

I must confess, brother Vegeta, I too indulge in the messaging during the Festival of Expulsion.

I am fortunate enough that my phone also allows me the indulgence of game playing, wifi, fm radio and various other treats to ensure the festival runs smoothly and is of sufficient duration.

Ah Brothers, we all know the feeling..."this could take a while" and when that feeling grips my guts I pass by the bookshelf and take what ever novel I'm currently reading. Terry Pratchett is indeed a good choice.

As Brother Ruu said, I sometimes forget to bring anything and will happily read and ponder the shampoo bottle if necessary :)

I'll take anything, have never forgotten anything though as mentioned above. I'm often seen running around the apartment looking for something to read while touching cloth.

Even in work I am often seen wandering slowly in the direction of the toilets with a paper under my arm. Not for me these shame faced secretive rushed trips.

I find there's nothing like working on a Kakuro while working out a crapuro. :D

    Pencil comes in handy, too.

I just sit there and relax as the brown submarine enters the harbour. I find that there isnt really time to do much reading, or anything else for that matter.

bottles of shampoo, Brother Hagar, is used by wimmins to make them feel good about their hair ... my wife told me so just now as she was fetching me beer, and collecting the empties ... apparently the shampoo bottles are plastic and brightly coloured, to avoid confusion for teh Brothers

Thank you Brother Trout. I have seen them in the past and wondered what purpose they might serve. The bright colours are indeed a wonderful warning system much like the bright colours of poison berries. Isn't nature great the way she protects us from danger?

I have a book called "Passing Time in the Loo", which is a collection of synopses of well known books from the classics to business guides and summaries of classic plays & operas. It also contains quotes etc.

It's much better than wasting time reading proper books. Imagine after 5 minutes being able to discuss "War and Peace"! It impresses the ladies no end!

They think to themselves: No hair, healthy gut AND smart!

Now, one of these days, I'll get around to reading it!

Be very careful Brother Hagar. One of these 'shampoos' comes in a bright yellow container with the word LINCO upon it.
But it also carries the word BEER
This is because these LINCO people (heathens that they are!) have used beer as an ingredient for their shampoo

    Please be vigilant Brothers!

Careful, Brother thrill, you must not rush such matters as it will not allow sufficient time to properly fragrance the room, thus negating the need to utter the sacred words "I wouldn't go in there for a bit" upon your departure.

Thanks to the mysteries of modern science, i now usually bring my laptop in with me on the wi-fi and play games ( http://www.miniclip.com/games/golf-ace/en/ being a favourite at the moment), or browse boards, while im dropping off a few Cosby kids at the pool.
