    Guys,

I am thinking of changing my pistol (Glock 17 L) or getting another, whilst I know the process to get one from NI, I would prefer the lesser hassle of getting it at home.

I have called the Gun Gallery in Drogheda but they do not sell them and have a limited amount of 9MM and is expensive.

Anyone know of any in the East Coast ?

    shoot.ie Galway shop.

Could not believe you could get a SIG Mosquito for only 325 Euro!
I dont really have a stong interest in pistol shooting but
I fell in love with the Walther P22 Target.

The SIG looks great, I know sevral people who have bought one and nearly all were disappointed either straight away or after a few months. They seem to jam frequently.

As for the Walther, very popular for a while I think because they were easy to get. Then people realised that they were far to small and jamed alot. Most people who started off with one have got rid of it by now. Only a toy really.

For the same money something far better can be bought up North. I fail to see the advantage of buying a pistol in the republic.

i was thinking of firing the sig moscito on sunday if its anything like the 226 i aint expecting much

SIG make very expensive high quality pistols, the only exception seems to be the mosquito. Most pistol shooters would rate the 226 as being a fantastic pistol. If you dont like it, you will hate the mosquito!
