    Brothers,

As I sit here counting the minutes till the office closes I find myself longing for that moment when I grasp my first beer after work on a Friday and let its beery goodness help me forget the weeks work that has passed. It has me wondering if this is indeed the best beer of the week. And it is. No other beer comes close to it.

So is it the "Beer of the Week"?

Is the first beer after work on a friday the "Beer of the Week" 16 votes

Twas only of an odd occassion that I'd get to sample the delights of the '1st beer after work on a Friday', but Goddamnit when I took that opportunity it was good!!

And surprisingly it didn't matter what beer the first one was, it always just tasted good!

And thinking further about it, I cannot wait till the sun comes out and I'm sitting outside in a beer garden with a pint glass of ice and a pint bottle of Bulmers.. just the one will do. mmmmmm :)

Oh and beer of the week is Porter House's Plain Porter ;)

Brothers, I present you with a prime candidate for beer of the week, "does exactly what it says on the tin(bottle)!"

    Merriman's

    Old Fart
