    Hi there,
For a few years I have been toying with the idea of applying for the M.Sc in Science Communication in DCU. Would anybody out there have any advice or experience of the quality of this course?

I have always had a huge interest in all aspects of science, a pass science degree and a communications post-grad, neither of which have amounted to much except a low grade journalism stint, but I thought the combination of the two should add up to a masters leading to a career as maybe a communications officer in a scientific organisation???

Have you emailed the course chair? I met him at an open night a couple of weeks ago and he's a great guy. I had some classes with the Science Comms people this year and their course seemed way more interesting than ours. The best lecturer I've had in my course is also a Science Comms graduate from DCU.

Not sure what you'll gain from adding this course to your current qualifications, talk to the guy in DCU and I'm fairly sure he'll tell you if it's worth doing the course or not.
