And if so is it any good?

Wii Golf is my favourite Wii Sports game but I want a big more variety in courses, just wondering if anyonecould recommend it to me?

    Is it out yet?

Yep, out today. Lots of mediocre reviews putting me off (lots of 6/10, 7/10 etc.). Main complaints seem to be PS2 quality graphics and (sometimes) flakey controls. Might pick it up when its cheaper.

If you own Tiger Woods 07 on another console, there's little reason to pick it up again on the Wii because there isn't any new content. However, it's certainly the best golf game available for the Wii at this time, and there's plenty here to keep you busy. Tiger Woods 07 does a fine job replicating the feel of actually swinging a golf club, and just as impressive is the fact that the control scheme is accessible to both golfers and nongolfers alike.

    Score 7.5/10
    Gameplay 8/10

    Seems pretty good to me.

Got it this morning played a few rounds its pretty much the same as its ps2 counterpart yeah with the usp being of course the controls, its alot better than wii sports golf and the modes are fairly useful i think its a wise purchase if ya like these sort of games on the other consoles if just gettin for the wii controls then stay well away

I pre-ordered it from Play a while back and got a mail to say it was posted today. With the joke that passes for a postal service (around Lucan at least) it will probably be in the bargain bins before I have mine :(

Anyone else suffering ridiculous delays with stuff from Play? After waiting four weeks for Raving Rabbids I emailed them. They said sorry, we'll send another one and it took a further two and a half weeks to arrive.

Regarding the reviews, I can't think of any sports games that got universally good reviews. By their nature they are too specialised for mass appeal. If it's better and deeper than Wii Sports golf then it should be good enough for me.

happened to me with play, turns out customs had snagged it because it was a dvd over 50 euro, charged by another 15 or they would send it back. only it took an post weeks to actually let me know so i had reported it lost to play who sent me out another one.

Got it today, traded in warioware for it.
Its def harder than Wii sports golf. It's not as straight forward.
It can be tricky to aim it correctly as sometimes it can hook in unwanted directions when you swing. Takes some practice to get use to it. Kinda got the hang of it after 2 hours of play.
    Better than Wario IMO.
If you like golf games or if you like Wii sports golf, you'll prob like this one.
Not a ground breaking game but a pretty good one.
    I like it.:D

Played around with it and it is not bad, some nice touches to the game. If you like golf games go for it, it works pretty well.

Tiger woods 08 will be once to watch as it should have much better gfx/controls (121?) and online.

And a Wii first timer had a shot of the game and loved it, go non gamers!!
