My emails to a friend are being blocked on her side.

Im using my work email to sned to her work email and everything is blocked.

Theres no obscene language, attachemts etc - we just send a few casual emails throughout the day and have done for the lat while.

But now everything i send her is being blocked - is there anyway of getting around this?

I put the nane of her company into the subject and into the mail etc to try fool the filter, but can we get around it?

I still recieve everything she sends

Its the server on her end blocking your mail, she needs to talk to her mail server admin to remove you from the blocked list.

Why would i get blocked in the first place?

Thats crap, she won't talk to the IT guys, thats for certain.

Are you sending mail from a hotmail/yahoo account?

If so its common for companys to block free e-mail services.

hmmm perhaps the IT dept has been told from high up to block all e-mails that are non-work related and your address has been blacklisted because of this.

Your friend would need to check with IT Dept,

i doubt thats the case they would be reading every email for content then to see if it is personal or business related which is unlikely.

Whats the return email you get telling you its blocked saying? Sometimes there is mistakes made where a company gets blacklisted on the software the company uses to check for spam.

Post up the email you get back, take out any names or anything beforehand.

When she gets the email saying its being blocked.

Does it say what system is blocking the mail?

yes whats the message shes gets then, more than likely they use spam cop or one of those and your companies ip address is blacklisted with them which is stopping your emails getting through. I used to have this kind problem in a company i used to work for it just depends what her message says as to what spam protection they are using.
