Hi I am just wondering does an employer have any obligation to pay for a strain injury caused from sitting at a desk all day?

Also, in relation to looking at a computer screen all day, does an employer have any obligation to send you for regular eye tests?

I think you're entitled to a free eye test if you use a screen regularly and you're not wearing glasses already.

I don't think they've an obligation to pay for a strain injury unless they had given you a really crappy seat to sit in.

You should have been given a personalised work-station analysis paid for by your employer. You should also have been given any eye test. If you have suffered a foreseeable injury you would be entitled to claim the cost of treatment from you employer.
