Lighting rig for oil painter

Hi,

My Mother in law is an excellent oil painter. She now wishes to set up still lifes, photograph them and use them as material for her artwork. She has a small digital camera which is not great, but is fine for the purpose. I mentioned to her (I used to be a photographer some time ago!) that she might think about getting some simple lighting which she could use to create better modelling in her subjects and perhaps a reflector or two (e.g. white card).

So, now that you have the background my question is this. Does anyone have any recommendations for some reasonably priced lights (brand name, type, store to buy them, or all of the above) which she could use? I've been out of the game a long time and the only lights I used where expensive powerpacks etc. I'm actually thinking more of continuous lighting than flash to make things simpler (if a bit hotter!). Any help would be greatly appreciated and of course my browny points go up a notch

I hope there is distributor for Ireland. They are very easy to set, they have two power settings, they are light and foldable.
