Hi, we're four Irish people currently in Koh Samui in Thailand. We got here yesterday from Koh Tao where we were for the last week and Koh Phangan for the week before that. Basically we want to get out of here asap as to be honest it's a kip! I'm just wondering would anyone have any advice about where to go for Paddy's Weekend? We want to go somewhere where there's a good nightlife and also where we could watch the rugby this weekend. Has anyone ever spent Paddy's on Phi Phi or anywhere on that side? We want to stay south of Bangkok. We're open to suggestions. Thank you

Get yourselves across to the west coast Islands, Phi Phi is the nicest island "in" Thailand, No cars, great food, great beaches and its very peaceful, Accomodation is not cheap anywhere near the beach but its worth it! Get the bus from Samui to Krabi, then boat to Phi Phi.

Unless you go back to phangan for the weekend, there'll be plenty of places to watch rugby and party, then recover over in the nicer places on the west.
