Weekend in Cavan - Advice on what to do

    We're thinking of booking a log cabin for a weekend in June. One of the cabins in Belturbet on the river Erne. It will be a lads only weekend. What's their to do around the area during the day and more importantly what the night life like around the area?

    I can answer that in 2 words-FISHING, DRINKING....Not much nightlife in Belturbet but you can always head for Cavan town..
    Anything else is a bonus..honestly dont know why you picked cavan?Why do you think we are all trying to get out of here?
