hi guys I'm organising a small stag to Dusseldorf this june
trying to get somewhere relatively clean and easy going close to the altstadt.
Any tips , advice or personal recommendations would be really appreciated,
indeed any thoughts from anyone has been on stag there would be welcome,I was looking at these two places
Hotel Am Wehrhahn and Hotel AltDüsseldorf, but there is not a whole of reviews for the first one, anyone been in either ? Anyone got another recomendation ?

We stayed here. It was reasonable, very clean and the breakfast each morning was very fresh with lots of selection. I can't remember at this time how far it was away from the oldtown area but will try and find out for you.

I would appreciate that because it looks good and has good reviews on trip advisor.
thanks for being so quick off the mark.

I just can't remember anything about how we got from our hotel to the oldtown. The hotel website tells me it is 400 meters from the S-Bahn (metro) that will take you to the city center. Sorry I can't be of more help. We didn't stay in Dusseldorf too long but the hotel was fantastic.
