    not sure if this is the best place but it is news....al queda member Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has confessed all apparently in Guantanamo Bay. He plotted the 9/11 attacks.

    TBH I would take anything coming out of that place with a pinch of salt. Torture someone long enough they will tell you anything.

    Yes, this 'news' popped up when I logged into yahoo, so ridiculas it is I posted it to a few friends.

    6 Years in Guantanamo? They could get a saint to admit to killing Santa, the easter bunny and JR.


    Actually, I'm amazed its taken them 6 years. Weak.

    I haven't read a lot of the reporting but I did hear on BBC4 this morning that he claims he was tortured during his detenrion (I imagine this much to be true).

    Are the other media also reporting this part of the story?

    I didn't reconise the name but I do reconise the picture. I recall when he was captured that it was reported that his children where also taken to gitmo. Would need to do some digging to see if that is still the case.
