    Here's my situation:

Room 1 - i have a sky box for fta and aerial feed for rte and tv3

Room 2 - i have a co-ax from room 1 which i intend to add a magic eye to and i also have an aerial feed for rte.

My query is will the magic eye let me watch rte in room 2 and sky(same channel as room 1) through the co-ax i have ran or will i have to connect the aerial feed in room 2 to get rte. If the latter how is this done?
    Thanks in advance.

yes, this can be done.you must connect the wire from your aerial into the back of your sky box(aerial in slot).then run a wire from one of the RF outlets on the back of your sky box to the 2nd room.you should have both feeds(RTE and Sky)in room 2.Hope this helps.

The co-ax should be run out of RF2 only at the back of the digibox, make sure you turn on the RF power supply from the hidden instalers menu (services 4-01 select), this will enable you to change channel in room 2.

thanks for the replies. i know you have to watch the same sky channels in both rooms but will this allow room 1 to watch say rte 1 and room 2 to watch tv3 for example at the same time
