My friend drove into a flash flood last week. Flood was over bonnet of her 2001 Mondeo 2.0l TDci. Engine is now knackered.Anyone know where she could get a good second - hand engine. She has tried all the dismantlers listed in Golden Pages and no luck. Can anyone help ?

Are you sure it isn't a TDDI?

Insurance company would probably cover it?

Otherwise it could be sourced in England if you find a mechanic with the contacts.

Why do people drive into floods anyway?
