Just saw this in the Irish Times today. It's a special offer running on Budweiser and Guinness for Paddy's weekend I presume.

24 cans should come to in or around the €22 mark for Guinness and €19 for Bud.

How long does this offer last? I dont want to walk the 4 mile round trip to the bastard place and get nothing.

Actually why was this so woefully under advertised? I only heard about it late on the news last night, and that was only because the usual crowd (doctors, parents groups, representatives of youth associations who we have never heard of/voted to speak for us) speaking against it. If I can get the hands on a motor i was planning at least 10 crates, it would see you into summer (though massive amounts of cans stacked in your bedroom would probably lead to you drinking 9 every night out of boredom, proving the antis right)

Bingo. Nothing on offer interested me, and the local Tesco sold out in a few hours... they seemed to have very limited stock.

Thats there game, limit stock, get people in and when they are there they will buy whatever cause there not arsed travelling to anywhere else!

In my local, the Merrion Shopping Centre, they seemed to have a huge supply. They kept bringing out massive pallattes of the stuff that were stacked about 6 foot high.

Local one in Mullingar was stocked full on Paddys day. I did not get any though. I like Guinness but not enough to drink 12 cans of it.
