We will be running €55 satellites where the winner receives entry and €110 satellites where top 2 will get through to the main event. Satellites will start at 1 pm. As soon as we get 10, we will play.
Structure is 3k chips and 10 minute blinds for €55 and 3.5k chips and 12 minute blinds for €110. Please note that the later satellites blinds may be shortened to get the main event started. All in all this should be a great event. Look forward to seeing you there

    Surely if you're advertising this as a 2 day event you must have a 150 - 300 level before the 150 - 300 (25) level.

Is this 100% cash payout or are there tickets for something else as part of the prize pool?

    Hi The_Chopper

That was a typo on my part! 150-300 will be played without antes AND then replayed with the introduction of the antes.

Click here for the official structure

    Regards

Thats twice now you have not answered the question asked. Is this a sat or is the payout 100% cash?

this is a load of sh1t and not the first time you hav posted misleading information here about the structure of an event. If its a frickin satellite then advertise it as that. You dont see Irish Open Satellites being advertised as 200E freezeouts. The attitude with which you try and take the readers of this forum as fools for is rank.

Why do you think Poker Events has such a bad rep? It cant even be upfront about about its bloody tournaments!!! Or is that satellites?

And i think it should be 10,000 starting stack. for a 500

Thanks BigD and others. I never even suspected that. I was seriously thinking about making a trek to Galway up to that point. It's a hell of a way to go and a lot of money to pay to discover that you're playing a satellite.

Of course if my sister in Galway reads this I'm probably in trouble now anyway.

If tournament organisers didnt run tournaments as satellites but rather all cash payouts they would get much more runners. Let us worry about how we are going to get into the main event or organise online sats to the main event. Players at live games just want the money. Its what makes us drag ourselves outdoors. Gimme the money.

imo a good example of this is carfax's satellite being called off the other day and all the hard work and advertisement he puts into these things. Yet Tony's tuesdays freezeout at the very same venue gets plenty of runners. Ok Tonys game the buyin is less but you get the idea, its a cash payout.

I'll edit the title to show it's a satellite. As frustrating as it might be, please don't get abusive, pm a mod or report the post if you have a problem.

Pokerevents-Ste, be more clear in future, ty.

I see on PE web site that all the sats are now to be held in Galway. Will the ME be in Galway too and can you tell us anything about it? Like the actual dates you're looking at.

    cheers
