Iona Institute rips off Humanist logo

    Came across this interview on the village site with laugh a minute religious commentator David Quinn about his new uber Catholic Iona Institute so I checked out the site and low and behold they have totally ripped off the "Happy Human"

    Note the 3 figures to emphasis their family friendliness, clever eh?
    Actually it looks more like the Holy Trinity on a trampoline

    The image is released under the GPL so as long as Iona is not for profit I reckon they can get away with it

    not sure the logos are similar enough to be considered copyright ... I mean can you copy right style of drawing ..?

    Well, as long as you can also make use of their derivative works.

    Arguing these sort of logo similarities can be extremely tricky though.

    I think one is supposed to represent a "H" and the other an "I".

    Maybe there's more in the Iona logo as they've got more members...
