A 500GB external HD can be gotten for 155 which is pretty good & plenty of storage space.

You can also get drives that do not require an external power supply like this 120GB one but less storage capacity is a consequence and lower speed.

    120GB

Was about to suggest the same one, I paid €250 for the firewire model b4 xmas, now that they are this low off i go to nab another couple.

    They are pretty good drives.

That's a handy little disk, got one of those two weeks ago and it's the biz. For a laptop, you really want a power supply free disk, otherwise it becomes less mobile. For just TV episodes, 160G would hold about 400 episodes, not bad. Of course if your only going to use it at home or in the office then the larger ones do make more sense from a price and storage point of view.

The Western Digital My Book range shown above from Komplett.ie are excellent and I would highly recommend them.
