Does anybody know of a DOS/NTFS boot disk that can successfully copy the SAM hash file form system32/config to c: or whatever. I have tried NTFS for DOS but they have failed to open the file even though Windows has not yet booted. Tried Linux also but no use. File is hard-locked. Anybody got any experience. Would I need to crack BIOS password?
