I have a Panasonic TV with an Integrated DVB-T tuner. The EPG is working fine but nothing happens when I press the Text button. I have in intermittent problem with the TV so that's why I not entierly sure whether it DVB or my TV

The Irish DTT channels aren't transmitting teletext, AFAIK - but you should be able to watch subtitles, assuming the programme being broadcasted has them.

I beleive teletext could be supported, but there's none (as yet) in the Irish transmissions.

All DVB systems support teletext. Teletext is actually digital, so on DVB it is sent as a separate stream rather then in blank picture lines as Digtial TV doesn't have the 29 & half blank lines per field.

Wasn't there talk of some sort of basic return path from the digiboxes over wireless up to fairly recently? Could be an indication of the way teletext is going.
