    According to vodafone:
We have updated the Vodafone Mobile Connect software to support the Vodafone Mobile Connect USB Modem when running Windows Vista.

Currently this software is being revised and tested. It will be available here in March 2007.

But what you can do is to update the drivers for the device in Vista Device Manager by pointing them to the XP Drivers on your install CD. They are compatible.

Than run the installation Program for the Vodafone Software with a right click "run as administrator" and when you execute the software later from your desktop also use "run as administrator" as the software needs that rights to create a RAS connection.

If that does not help, search for "E220 HSDPA USB Modem driver vista" and you get some tutorials showing you what to do.
