    how much? theres one in sony centre in the square for abouit 1500 i think. full HD.

    Is there any reason why you are going for a rear projection? You know they're sh1te dont you? Esp with plasma and lcd having come down so much in the last year....

    rather sweeping statement..................

    and no , they are not sh1te ! Most new RP tv's have LCD tech in them, just projected onto the screen, only use for a plasma and lcd over 42" is if u want to hang it on a wall, other than that the pic u get from a 50" RP is as good, if not better than plasma pics i have seen.

    And OP, sony do a 42, great, also a 50 and not as big as you would think and only a few hundred euro in the diff.

    there was a 56'' Samsung DLP TV for 2400euro around in supervalu hardware store in castleblayney monaghan when i was there it was also on QVC for £1300
