Reconditioned Vespa's from Thailand

    Hey,
    Got talking to a guy last week about the Vespa he had. He mentioned they were coming in from Thailand, fully reconditioned and not a mark on them. Got so worked up about the bike I completly forgot to aks him where he got the bike.

    Anyone know anything about any dealers bringing in reconditioned Vespas from Thailand?

    Hiya GaRtH_V,

    Get your barge pole out and dust it down...you'll need it! Some of these came into Ireland last year, a lovely looking bike on the outside maybe, but highly bodged frames and dangerous engines on the inside. Importer couldn't shift them once word got out in the irish scootering scene. They turn up in the buy and sell now sometimes. :rolleyes:
