Build your own NAS, advice needed

Hi, I am planning to build my own NAS (Network Attached Storage) computer and was looking into a cost effective solution.

Buying a nano-itx or mini-itx board is overkill as I wouldn't need the graphics card and USB ports.

So I was looking into this: http://www.routerboard.com/rb100.html
    (the 133c model)

    If I fit this: http://www.advantech.com/products/model_detail.asp?model_id=1-1TZWXI

I should be able to fit one or two laptop 2.5" SATA drives?

My questions are: will the power supply take it? (I don't know what the power requirements of a hard disk SATA drive are)

Will it take a usual 3.5 inch sata drive?

Has anybody done this before or built a NAS him/herself?

I am NOT looking for speed, it should be low cost, low power requirements and if I could fit a wireless card somehow it would be nice.

Thanks for any answers in advance.

    I use this....

With custom firmware the harddrive can be set to spin down when idle.

Looks interesting, how much is it?

I see one problem with it: it has no RAID option, so if the drive fails your data is gone.

About my original post, I just realise that probably Samba will not run on the routerboard, as there is only 16M RAM...

    Regarding RAID: http://wl500g.info/showpost.php?p=42490&postcount=4

Regarding price, I got it last year for 260 euros off Ebay. You'll have to google to find the cheapest place to get it.
